Story: Sanju ji teaching Sujani
Spreading the craft of Sujani is something Sanju ji is
passionate about. She has taken it upon herself to
travel to distant places and work alongside different
organisations to conduct trainings and teach the craft of
Sujani to women. The mission is to bring all the women
practicing this craft forward and work together to
facilitate the development of Sujani further.
Back in 2006, she began with a group of 20 women, which
has now grown upto 400 women. Sanju ji is an inspiring
leader and has been working on this craft for more than
30 years now. Her work is recognised by UNESCO.
