Gujarat’s vibrant and variant fabrics are evidence to it’s rich textile heritage, which we take pride on. Kutchch being the epicenter to attract tourists and art enthusiasts is worth giving a visit to.

The art of bandhni, tie-dye work, block printing, etc. hails from here from which the local artisans make a living. The draining process of making these beautiful fabrics is unfortunately isn’t paying off well these artisans and still struggle for an identity to the outside world.

From my last visit, I and many designers would probably feel that there has been a lacking bridge, trustworthy enough to give their endeavour and our rich heritage an upward push. This is what they deserve. ‘Amounee’ is a new and good initiative that hopefully would bring positives changes to the present scenario.
